Four wrecks at Abu Nuhas. The Thistlegorm's wartime cargo at thirty metres. Oceanic whitetips circling at the Brothers. Hammerhead schools at Daedalus in the pre-dawn blue. One expedition, the best of the Red Sea.

Brother Islands — Peak Oceanic Whitetip Season — The Brother Islands in October are a high-energy theatre of marine life. Water at 27–28°C keeps the reef at peak metabolic activity.
Daedalus Reef — Schooling Hammerheads — Daedalus Reef in October is widely considered the peak month for hammerhead encounters. Unlike other months where sightings might be a lone individual, October brings predictable schools of scalloped hammerheads gathering in the open blue off the northern wall.
SS Thistlegorm — WWII Time Capsule — One of the world's most famous wreck dives. A British WWII cargo steamer sunk in 1941, resting at 30 metres with its wartime cargo still intact — BSA motorbikes in the holds, Bedford trucks, crates of rifles, and Wellington boots.
Abu Nuhas — The Ship Graveyard — A triangular reef jutting into the shipping channel — historically the cause of numerous wrecks. The Giannis D offers a penetrable bridge and the iconic 45-degree tilted engine room.
Courses Onboard — Advance Your Diving — This itinerary is ideal for continuing education. Our instructors offer PADI Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diver, and other specialty courses during the expedition.

Shaab El Erg (Dolphin House)

5–30m

A horseshoe-shaped coral reef famous for resident bottlenose dolphin pods, especially on early morning dives. Gently sloping coral gardens with large pinnacles — ideal for check dives and relaxed exploration. Turtles, moray eels, goatfish, bannerfish, and occasional rays. Visibility regularly exceeds 30 metres.

Abu Nuhas Wrecks

3–32m

Fyra vrak på ett enda rev — Röda havets mest ökända skeppskyrkogård. Carnatic (1869, 25–27m) med säkra genomsimningar. Giannis D (1983, 6–27m) med genomträngbar brygga och maskinrum. MV Marcus 'Tile Wreck' (1981, 4–28m) med italienska golvplattor i lastrummen. Kimon M 'Lentil Wreck' (1978, 15–32m), det djupaste och tystaste.

SS Thistlegorm

15–30m

En av världens mest berömda vrakdykningar. Ett brittiskt fraktfartyg från andra världskriget som sjönk 1941, vilar på 30 meters djup med lastbilar, motorcyklar och gevär fortfarande i lastrummen. Massiva stim av fiskar, barracudor, sköldpaddor och napoleonfiskar. Avancerad nivå rekommenderas på grund av djupet och eventuella strömmar. Vrakdykning Specialitet och Nitrox är idealiskt för detta dyk.

Brother Islands

5–40m

Oktober månads pelagiska topp vid Brother Islands. Oceanic whitetips anländer med djärvt självförtroende. Hammarhajarna patrullerar det norra platån på Little Brother – utmärkta dykmöjligheter i gryningen. Vraket Numidia hänger vertikalt från 8 meters djup ner i avgrunden, med mjukkoraller i full blom och massiva moln av orange anthias. Grå revhajar är otroligt aktiva på platåerna, och köar ofta vid rengöringsstationer. Vattentemperatur på 27–28°C med exceptionell sikt.

Daedalus Reef

10–40m

Oktober anses allmänt vara högsäsongen för möten med hammarhaj på Daedalus. Förutsägbara stim av "scalloped hammerhead" samlas i det öppna blå utanför den norra väggen. Mantor dras till det varma vattnet och glider ofta längs de södra väggarna. Säsongens första oceaniska vitfenade hajar börjar anlända. Anemone City – en massiv koloni av anemoner och clownfiskar – klamrar sig fast vid den västra dropp-offen. Den avlägsna fyren erbjuder 360-graders utsikt över det öppna Röda havet. Sikten är legendarisk.

Dykplatser beror på väder, strömmar och förhållanden. Vår besättning optimerar i realtid för bästa dykning.

Dag för dag (8 dagar)

Transfer to M/Y Celesta at Hurghada New Marina. Cabin assignments, equipment setup, orientation, and safety briefing. Snacks and dinner on board as we prepare for departure.

Safety briefing and check dive at Shaab El Erg (Dolphin House). A relaxed horseshoe reef with coral gardens and resident bottlenose dolphins. Sail to Abu Nuhas for afternoon wreck dives — the Giannis D and Carnatic.

Morning dives at Abu Nuhas — explore the iconic 45-degree tilted engine room of the Giannis D, the Carnatic's coral-encrusted skeleton. Afternoon at the SS Thistlegorm — descend into holds packed with WWII cargo. BSA motorbikes, Bedford trucks, crates of rifles, and the bombed stern with its fallen locomotives.

Morning dives at the Thistlegorm — a second chance to explore the world's most famous wreck. Afternoon sail to the Brother Islands, 80km offshore. Evening briefing for dawn dives.

Pre-dawn dive at Little Brother for hammerheads on the northern plateau. Wall dives along both islands — oceanic whitetips approaching with bold confidence, grey reef sharks at cleaning stations, giant moray eels. The Numidia wreck draped in gorgonian fans and clouds of orange anthias. Up to 4 dives.

Full day at Daedalus Reef. Pre-dawn dive at the northern wall for hammerhead schools at the cleaning stations. Wall dives with mantas on the southern walls, Anemone City on the western drop-off. Oceanic whitetips and barracuda in the blue. Legendary visibility.

Morning dives — last chance at Daedalus or en route sites depending on conditions. Last dive day. Afternoon sail to Port Ghalib Marina. Farewell dinner on board.

Breakfast on board, pack up and disembark. Included transfer to Marsa Alam or Hurghada airport. Departure at your leisure.

M/Y Celesta carries oxygen kits, a first-aid station, EPIRBs, SOLAS life rafts, fire suppression systems, and satellite communication. Dual main engines for redundancy. Two speedboats with dual engines provide zodiac cover on every dive. Professional crew of 12 with current maritime certifications. Dive insurance is mandatory for all guests.

Yes. We offer PADI/SDI/TDI specialties including Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck Diver, and Deep Diver. Courses are integrated into the dive schedule so you learn on real sites, not in a pool. Course fees are additional to the trip price. Let us know in advance so we can prepare materials.

Airport transfers, 7 nights full-board, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, up to 4 guided dives per day, professional dive guides, 12L aluminium cylinder, weights and belt, Nitrox, and Wi-Fi near land. Not included: flights, visa, environmental taxes, equipment rental, alcohol, gratuities, insurance, and dive courses. See each expedition for specific inclusions.

Fly into Hurghada International Airport (HRG). We arrange transfers from the airport to the marina — about 20 minutes. Boarding opens at 13:00 on Day 1. On the final day, we return to the marina in the morning with transfers to the airport. Full logistics and meeting points are sent before departure.

Bring your own mask, dive computer, SMB, and exposure suit (3mm or 5mm depending on the season). Rental BCDs and regulators are available but we recommend bringing your own. Topside: sun protection, light layers for the evenings, and a good book for surface intervals.
