Visibility
Four wrecks at Abu Nuhas. The Thistlegorm's wartime cargo at thirty metres. Oceanic whitetips circling at the Brothers in peak season. Hammerheads still present at Daedalus. One expedition, the best of the Red Sea.
- Brother Islands — Peak Oceanic Whitetip Season — The Brother Islands in November are at the peak of oceanic whitetip season. The longimanus arrive in force — bold, unhurried, approaching divers under the boat and on the plateaus with slow confidence.
- Daedalus Reef — Hammerheads & Mantas — Daedalus Reef in November still delivers hammerhead encounters — individuals and small groups cruise the open blue off the northern wall at dawn. While not the massive schools of peak October, the sightings are reliable and the reef is quieter.
- SS Thistlegorm — WWII Time Capsule — One of the world's most famous wreck dives. A British WWII cargo steamer sunk in 1941, resting at 30 metres with its wartime cargo still intact — BSA motorbikes in the holds, Bedford trucks, crates of rifles, and Wellington boots.
- Abu Nuhas — The Ship Graveyard — A triangular reef jutting into the shipping channel — historically the cause of numerous wrecks. The Giannis D offers a penetrable bridge and the iconic 45-degree tilted engine room.
- Courses Onboard — Advance Your Diving — This itinerary is ideal for continuing education. Our instructors offer PADI Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diver, and other specialty courses during the expedition.

Shaab El Erg (Dolphin House)
A horseshoe-shaped coral reef famous for resident bottlenose dolphin pods, especially on early morning dives. Gently sloping coral gardens with large pinnacles — ideal for check dives and relaxed exploration. Turtles, moray eels, goatfish, bannerfish, and occasional rays. Visibility regularly exceeds 30 metres.

Abu Nuhas Wrecks
Four wrecks on a single reef — the Red Sea's most notorious ship graveyard. The Carnatic (1869, 25–27m) with safe swim-throughs. The Giannis D (1983, 6–27m) with penetrable bridge and engine room. The MV Marcus 'Tile Wreck' (1981, 4–28m) with Italian floor tiles in the holds. The Kimon M 'Lentil Wreck' (1978, 15–32m), the deepest and quietest.

SS Thistlegorm
One of the world's most famous wreck dives. A British WWII cargo steamer sunk in 1941, resting at 30 metres with trucks, motorcycles, and rifles still in the holds. Massive schooling fish, barracudas, turtles, and Napoleon wrasse. Advanced recommended due to depth and occasional currents. Wreck Specialty and Nitrox ideal for this dive.

Brother Islands
October's pelagic peak at the Brother Islands. Oceanic whitetips arrive with bold confidence. Scalloped hammerheads patrol the northern plateau of Little Brother — prime dawn dive opportunities. The Numidia wreck drapes vertically from 8m into the abyss, soft corals in full bloom with massive clouds of orange anthias. Grey reef sharks are incredibly active on the plateaus, often queuing up at cleaning stations. Water at 27–28°C with exceptional visibility.

Daedalus Reef
October is widely considered the peak month for hammerhead encounters at Daedalus. Predictable schools of scalloped hammerheads gather in the open blue off the northern wall. Manta rays are drawn to the warm waters, frequently gliding along the southern walls. The first oceanic whitetips of the season begin to arrive. Anemone City — a massive colony of anemones and clownfish — clings to the western drop-off. The remote lighthouse offers 360-degree views of the open Red Sea. Visibility is legendary.
Sites depend on weather, currents, and conditions. Our crew optimises in real-time for the best diving.
