Kitesurfing Charters
Kite the Red Sea's hidden lagoons.
Crystal-clear flatwater. 18–25 knots. Remote islands only a liveaboard can reach. Charter the whole boat for your crew.
The best kite spots are offshore. You need a boat.
The Red Sea's best kitesurfing lagoons — Tawila, Geisum, Ashrafi islands — are offshore. No roads, no beach access. A liveaboard is the only way in. Wake up anchored in the lagoon. Kite all day. No commute, no crowds, no wasted wind hours.
Expect 80%+ kiteable days from May to October. Thermal winds of 18–25 knots. September is the strongest month. Water temperature stays between 24–28°C year-round. This is one of the most reliable kite destinations in the world.

A typical day
Three sessions. Zero commute. All the wind.
Your schedule, your pace. This is what a typical kite safari day looks like — adjustable to your group's energy and goals.
Sunrise session. Flat water, light thermal building. The lagoon is yours.
Breakfast on deck. Gear check. Swap stories.
Main session. Peak wind. Chase boat on standby.
Lunch. Rest. Or keep going — the wind isn't leaving.
Afternoon session. Golden light. Downwinders between islands.
Sundowner on the top deck. Dinner. Tomorrow's forecast.

Not everyone in your group kites? Perfect.
Some of your crew want to kite. Others want to dive, snorkel, or just read on the sun deck. Celesta handles both — simultaneously. Dedicated dive guides for divers, chase boat support for kiters, and a crew that makes everyone feel like the trip was designed for them.

Your vessel
Built for the sea. Ready for your kites.
M/Y Celesta is a 2026 new build — hand-built wooden hull with light steel reinforcements, dual main engines, and Swedish-designed interiors. Spacious decks for rigging, a dedicated gear storage area, and speedboat chase support for every session.
After a day on the water, come back to luxury cabins with individual AC, freshwater showers, and chef-prepared meals. This isn't a converted fishing boat — it's a purpose-built liveaboard with the space and comfort to match.

Bring your gear or let us arrange it.
Most kiters bring their own equipment — and we have plenty of space to store it. If you prefer to travel light, we can arrange rental gear through our local partners. Boards, kites, harnesses — whatever you need.
Need instruction? We can arrange IKO-certified instructors to join your charter. From first-timer lessons in the lagoon to advanced coaching on open water — we'll match you with the right instructor for your level.
Before you ask
We hear these a lot.
“I'm a beginner — is this for me?”
Absolutely. We can arrange IKO-certified instruction as part of your charter. The flatwater lagoons are ideal learning environments — shallow, warm, and no waves. Many of our kite charters include a mix of beginners and experienced riders.
“What if the wind drops?”
The Red Sea has some of the most reliable wind in the world from May to October. But if you get a rare calm day — you're on a dive liveaboard. Go diving, snorkeling, or explore the reef. Not a wasted day.
“What about non-kiters in my group?”
Celesta is a full-service liveaboard. Non-kiters can dive with our guides, snorkel the reefs, paddleboard in the lagoons, or simply relax on deck with a book and chef-prepared meals. The crew handles both kiters and non-kiters simultaneously.
“How far ahead do I need to book?”
3 to 6 months for peak wind season (June to September). Shoulder season (May, October) sometimes has shorter lead times available — worth asking if you're flexible.
“Can we design our own route?”
That's the point of a charter. Tell us your level, your goals, and how many wind hours you want per day. We'll design the route around the best spots for the conditions during your dates.
“Do I need to bring my own gear?”
Most kiters do, but we can arrange rental gear through our local partners. Boards, kites, harnesses — whatever you need. Just let us know when you book and we'll have everything ready.

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers kitesurfing and water sports. While not mandatory, it's your responsibility to ensure you're covered for the activities you plan to do on the trip.
