The descent into Abu Talha begins in turquoise and ends in shadow. You follow the reef wall past hard corals so densely packed they look sculpted, their colours sharpening as your eyes adjust. At 25 metres the sinkhole opens beneath you, a dark mouth in the reef floor, and your light catches the walls of the passage ahead.

Sha'ab El Erg (Dolphin House)
Ein hufeisenförmiger Riff zwischen Hurghada und El Gouna, Heimat einer ansässigen Gruppe von Spinnerdelfinen. Morgentauchgänge bieten häufige Begegnungen in der geschützten inneren Lagune. Das äußere Riff fällt bis auf 30 m ab, mit Barrakudas, Thunfischen und Blaupunktrochen. Die Sichtweite übersteigt regelmäßig 40 m. Der ideale Check-Tauchgang – und potenziell der beste Check-Tauchgang im Roten Meer.
Abu Talha Canyon
Ein Tauchplatz 17 Minuten nördlich von Dahab mit dem Jeep, nur bei Flut und ruhiger See zugänglich – der eingeschränkte Zugang erhält die Korallen in bemerkenswertem Zustand. Der äußere Korallengarten (5–20m) ist ein Amphitheater von außergewöhnlicher Farbenpracht. Das innere Canyonsystem ist technisch: eine Doline auf 25m, die zum Riss führt – extrem eng auf 30m mit begrenzten Ausgängen – Hartkorallenwände, die bis auf 50m+ abfallen, und Überkopfpassagen, die mit Abu Helal verbunden sind. Die tieferen Passagen sind nur für Sidemount geeignet. Hervorragend für Sidemount, CCR und Training in Überkopfumgebungen.
Dahab Blue Hole
Ein unterseeisches Sinkloch von über 100 m Tiefe, eines der ikonischsten Tauchgebiete der Welt. Die Freizeittauchroute führt durch 'the Bells' – einen Riss im Riff, wo die Flaschen wie Kirchenglocken klingen – und taucht in 28 m Tiefe an der Steilwand wieder auf, bevor sie am 'Saddle' in 7 m Tiefe in das Loch führt. Der 'Arch' in 52–55 m Tiefe ist die technische Route: ein 26 m langer Tunnel, der ins offene Rote Meer führt. Mit Trimix und entsprechender Planung ist dies eine der prägendsten Erfahrungen im Tauchsport.
Dahab Canyon
Eine tektonische Spalte mit drei Öffnungen. Die "Fish Bowl" auf 14 m ist eine Korallenkuppel, die ein geschlossenes Aquarium mit Glasfischen und Rotfeuerfischen bildet. Der Hauptcanyon auf 22 m wird von Wänden eingerahmt, an denen das Sonnenlicht außergewöhnliche Effekte erzeugt. Technische Taucher können der Spalte bis zum tiefen Ausgang auf 52–54 m folgen und im offenen Blauwasser auftauchen. Eine gute Tarierungskontrolle ist durchgehend unerlässlich.
SS Thistlegorm
Einer der berühmtesten Wracktauchgänge der Welt. Ein britischer Frachtdampfer aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, der 1941 sank und in 30 Metern Tiefe liegt, mit Lastwagen, Motorrädern und Gewehren noch in den Laderäumen. Massive Fischschwärme, Barrakudas, Schildkröten und Napoleon-Lippfische. Aufgrund der Tiefe und gelegentlicher Strömungen ist "Advanced" empfohlen. Wrack-Spezialkurs und Nitrox sind ideal für diesen Tauchgang.

Board M/Y Celesta at Hurghada marina in the afternoon. Safety briefing, cabin assignments, and equipment setup. Welcome dinner on board as we prepare for an early departure towards the Sinai coast.
Morning check dive at Sha'ab El Erg (Dolphin House) — spinner dolphins in the sheltered lagoon, barracuda and rays on the outer reef. Equipment check and buddy pairing. After the dive, sail north towards Dahab through the Gulf of Aqaba. Afternoon briefing on the Abu Talha sites and dive planning for the days ahead.
First of two days at Abu Talha. Transfer by jeep to the site — accessible only at high tide. Morning dives on the outer coral amphitheatre (5–20m), one of the Sinai's most colourful reef systems. Afternoon dives explore the canyon entrance and sinkhole at 25m. Technical divers begin mapping the overhead passages for deeper exploration on Day 4.
Second day at Abu Talha. Technical divers push deeper into the canyon system — narrow overhead passages with limited exits connecting to the Abu Helal network. Sidemount and CCR divers explore the deeper sections to 50m+. Recreational divers enjoy additional dives on the outer reef and shallower canyon features. The extra day here is what sets this itinerary apart.
Morning dives at the Blue Hole. Recreational divers enter through the Bells and cross the Saddle. Trimix-qualified divers descend to the Arch at 52–55m — the 26m tunnel exiting to the open Red Sea with infinite blue below. Afternoon dives at Dahab Canyon: the Fish Bowl at 14m, the main canyon, and the deep exit for technical divers. Sail south overnight.
Arrive at the Thistlegorm wreck site in Sha'ab Ali. First dive: orientation of the 127m wreck — the exterior, the stern gun, the blast zone where two locomotives were blown off the deck. Second dive: penetration into the holds. Hold 1 with its rows of motorcycles. Hold 2 with Bedford trucks. The engine room. A night dive on the Thistlegorm is possible if conditions allow — the wreck transforms after dark.
Morning return to the Thistlegorm for a final penetration dive — Hold 3 (ammunition), the bridge, and anything missed on Day 6. Afternoon dive on a nearby reef or wreck as conditions permit. Final evening dinner on board, log-book session, and farewell gathering.
Final breakfast on board. Checkout and disembark at Hurghada marina. Airport transfers provided. Departure at your leisure.

Yes. We offer PADI/SDI/TDI specialties including Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck Diver, and Deep Diver. Courses are integrated into the dive schedule so you learn on real sites, not in a pool. Course fees are additional to the trip price. Let us know in advance so we can prepare materials.
Airport transfers, 7 nights full-board, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, up to 4 guided dives per day, professional dive guides, 12L aluminium cylinder, weights and belt, Nitrox, and Wi-Fi near land. Fly into Hurghada International Airport (HRG). We arrange transfers from the airport to the marina — about 20 minutes. Boarding opens at 13:00 on Day 1. On the final day, we return to the marina in the morning with transfers to the airport. Full logistics and meeting points are sent before departure.
Bring your own mask, dive computer, SMB, and exposure suit (3mm or 5mm depending on the season). Rental BCDs and regulators are available but we recommend bringing your own. Topside: sun protection, light layers for the evenings, and a good book for surface intervals.
