Giants and Reefs of the Southern Red Sea is a week of 17+ dives at Daedalus, St. John’s, Fury Shoal, Sataya, and Elphinstone. Explore vibrant coral gardens, dramatic drop-offs, and remote reefs alive with reef sharks, hammerheads, mantas, and pelagic schools. Drift along sheer walls, glide through pinnacles, and experience the Red Sea’s giants in crystal-clear blue waters.
- Daedalus — Hammerheads at Dawn — Daedalus Reef rises from 500m depths, eighty kilometres from shore. The northern plateau at 30–40m draws hammerhead schools to cleaning stations in the early morning light.
- St. John — St. John’s in August is a remote Red Sea gem, offering warm, clear waters and exceptional visibility.
- Sataya — Swimming with Spinner Dolphins — Sataya's lagoon hosts resident pods of spinner dolphins — often forty or fifty at a time — that rest and socialise in the shallow, protected water. They approach divers with genuine curiosity, circling, rolling, and diving in long arcs close enough to hear their vocalisations.
- Fury Shoals — Coral Labyrinths & Hidden Reefs — Fury Shoals is a sprawling network of reefs in the deep south, each one different from the last. Coral towers, swim-throughs barely wider than a diver, tunnels glowing with natural light, and hidden plateaus alive with marine life.
- Elphinstone — Pelagic Action on the South Plateau — Elphinstone Reef is a finger-shaped reef with dramatic vertical walls, sheer drop-offs, and vibrant soft corals. The south plateau at 25–35m is the world's most reliable location for oceanic whitetip shark encounters — they approach with unhurried confidence, pilot fish in tow.

Daedalus Reef
10월은 데달러스에서 귀상어 상어를 만날 수 있는 절정의 달로 널리 알려져 있습니다. 예측 가능한 군집의 귀상어 상어들이 북쪽 벽 너머 푸른 바다에 모여듭니다. 쥐가오리들은 따뜻한 물에 이끌려 남쪽 벽을 따라 자주 미끄러지듯 헤엄칩니다. 시즌 첫 번째 장완흉상어들이 도착하기 시작합니다. 말미잘과 흰동가리 물고기들의 거대한 군락인 '아네모네 시티'는 서쪽 절벽에 붙어 있습니다. 외딴 등대는 홍해의 탁 트인 360도 전망을 제공합니다. 가시성은 전설적입니다.
St. Johns
St. John’s는 홍해에서 가장 깨끗하고 다양한 다이빙을 제공하며, 탐험할 수 있는 산호초, 암초, 동굴, 터널의 미로가 있습니다. 생명체로 가득한 생생한 산호 정원과 함께, 절벽과 수로에는 상어, 거북이, 그리고 큰 물고기 떼가 모여듭니다. 멀리 떨어져 있고 때묻지 않은 이곳은 편안한 리프 다이빙과 가끔씩 마주치는 대형 어류의 짜릿함을 결합한 곳입니다.
Fury Shoals
퓨리 쇼얼스(Fury Shoals)는 홍해 남부에 위치한 멋진 산호초 군락으로, 생기 넘치는 산호 정원, 극적인 절벽 지대, 숨겨진 통과 지형이 조화를 이루고 있습니다. 각 산호초는 산호 봉우리들이 흩어져 있는 넓은 모래 고원부터 생명체로 가득한 터널과 동굴까지 다양합니다. 이 지역은 형형색색의 연산호와 경산호, 고르곤 산호, 섬세한 말미잘 등 놀라운 산호 다양성으로 유명합니다. 산호초 가장자리에는 상어가 순찰하고, 바다거북이 경사면을 따라 미끄러지듯 나아가며, 스내퍼, 풀리시에, 잭피쉬 떼가 햇빛 속에서 반짝입니다. 많은 다이빙 포인트가 완전히 손길이 닿지 않은 듯한 느낌을 줍니다.
Sataya Reef

Elphinstone Reef
엘핀스톤 리프는 붉은 바다에서 가장 극적인 다이빙 장소 중 하나로, 가파른 절벽, 강한 조류, 풍부한 원양 생물로 유명합니다. 이 리프는 생기 넘치는 연산호와 경산호, 고르곤 산호 부채, 다채로운 오버행으로 장식되어 있습니다. 남쪽 고원(25-35m)은 대양 흰가오리를 만날 수 있는 세계에서 가장 확실한 장소 중 하나입니다. 그들은 몰려다니는 물고기 떼와 함께 느긋하고 자신감 있게 접근합니다. 쥐치, 전갱이, 바라쿠다 떼가 절벽을 순찰합니다. 상어, 독수리 가오리, 거북이도 정기적으로 볼 수 있습니다. 모든 다이빙은 강력한 조류에 의해 형성되는 드리프트 다이빙입니다.

Board M/Y Celesta at Port Ghalib marina in the afternoon. Safety briefing, cabin assignments, and equipment setup. Welcome dinner on board as we prepare for the week ahead.
Morning check dive and safety briefing. Two dives today — ease into the rhythm of liveaboard life with beautiful reef dives. Vibrant corals, curious marine life. Minimum 2-hour surface intervals between dives. Three full meals plus snacks and drinks around the clock.
Giants and Reefs of the Southern Red Sea is a week-long journey through some of the Red Sea’s most remote and breathtaking dive sites. Descend into the blue at Daedalus and watch hammerheads sweep past the northern wall, while mantas glide effortlessly along the southern drop-offs and oceanic whitetips patrol the depths. At St. John’s, pinnacles and coral towers teem with life, rays of sunlight illuminating colorful gardens, reef sharks patrolling, and hawksbill turtles drifting lazily. Fury Shoal is a true labyrinth of coral caverns, swim-throughs, and hidden passages, where soft light reveals a world alive with anthias, fusiliers, and grazing turtles. At Sataya, the turquoise lagoon comes alive with playful pods of spinner dolphins, circling and diving around you in long, graceful arcs. Finally, Elphinstone delivers dramatic drift dives along sheer walls, soft corals glowing in the current, fusiliers flashing past, and the occasional oceanic whitetip appearing from the open blue. This expedition blends remote, untouched reefs, dramatic drop-offs, vibrant corals, and unforgettable pelagic encounters into one immersive adventure. Days are spent exploring, drifting, and discovering, while nights are calm under star-filled skies — a journey that fills the soul with the magic of the southern Red Sea.
Early morning dive before breakfast — one last underwater adventure. Second dive depending on conditions and flight schedules. Logbooks signed, photos shared. Farewell dinner celebration with the crew.

Two speedboats with dual engines provide zodiac cover on every dive. Professional crew of 12 with current maritime certifications. Dive insurance is mandatory for all guests.
Yes. We offer PADI/SDI/TDI specialties including Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck Diver, and Deep Diver. Courses are integrated into the dive schedule so you learn on real sites, not in a pool. Course fees are additional to the trip price. Let us know in advance so we can prepare materials.
Airport transfers, 7 nights full-board, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, up to 4 guided dives per day, professional dive guides, 12L aluminium cylinder, weights and belt, Nitrox, and Wi-Fi near land. Not included: flights, visa, environmental taxes, equipment rental, alcohol, gratuities, insurance, and dive courses. See each expedition for specific inclusions.
Fly into Hurghada International Airport (HRG). We arrange transfers from the airport to the marina — about 20 minutes. Boarding opens at 13:00 on Day 1. On the final day, we return to the marina in the morning with transfers to the airport. Full logistics and meeting points are sent before departure.
Bring your own mask, dive computer, SMB, and exposure suit (3mm or 5mm depending on the season). Rental BCDs and regulators are available but we recommend bringing your own. Topside: sun protection, light layers for the evenings, and a good book for surface intervals.
