Visibility
Spinner dolphins circle beneath you at Sataya, close enough to hear their clicks. The day before, hammerheads crossed the cleaning station at Daedalus in the pre-dawn light. Tomorrow, an oceanic whitetip will materialise at Elphinstone. Five sites, one week — reef beauty and open-ocean drama in a single route.
- Daedalus — Hammerheads at Dawn — Daedalus Reef rises from 500m depths, eighty kilometres from shore. The northern plateau at 30–40m draws hammerhead schools to cleaning stations in the early morning light.
- Sataya — Swimming with Spinner Dolphins — Sataya's lagoon hosts resident pods of spinner dolphins — often forty or fifty at a time — that rest and socialise in the shallow, protected water. They approach divers with genuine curiosity, circling, rolling, and diving in long arcs close enough to hear their vocalisations.
- Fury Shoals — Coral Labyrinths & Hidden Reefs — Fury Shoals is a sprawling network of reefs in the deep south, each one different from the last. Coral towers, swim-throughs barely wider than a diver, tunnels glowing with natural light, and hidden plateaus alive with marine life.
- Elphinstone — Pelagic Action on the South Plateau — Elphinstone Reef is a finger-shaped reef with dramatic vertical walls, sheer drop-offs, and vibrant soft corals. The south plateau at 25–35m is the world's most reliable location for oceanic whitetip shark encounters — they approach with unhurried confidence, pilot fish in tow.
- Courses Onboard — Advance Your Diving — This itinerary is ideal for continuing education. Our instructors offer PADI Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Diver, and other specialty courses during the expedition.

Dive Sites(5)

Abu Dabab
Abu Dabab is a relaxed, beautiful Red Sea reef where life unfolds at an easy pace. The gently sloping coral gardens are full of colour — healthy hard corals, scattered pinnacles, and small swim-throughs that glow with natural light. Blue-spotted stingrays rest half-buried in the sand, and eagle rays occasionally glide past in the blue. Along the reef edges and small drop-offs, reef sharks cruise by. Perfect for slow exploration and macro: nudibranchs, shrimp, and tiny reef critters hide between coral branches and sandy patches.

Daedalus Reef
October is widely considered the peak month for hammerhead encounters at Daedalus. Predictable schools of scalloped hammerheads gather in the open blue off the northern wall. Manta rays are drawn to the warm waters, frequently gliding along the southern walls. The first oceanic whitetips of the season begin to arrive. Anemone City — a massive colony of anemones and clownfish — clings to the western drop-off. The remote lighthouse offers 360-degree views of the open Red Sea. Visibility is legendary.

Fury Shoals
Fury Shoals is a stunning network of reefs in the southern Red Sea, offering a mix of vibrant coral gardens, dramatic drop-offs, and hidden swim-throughs. Each reef is different — from broad sandy plateaus dotted with coral pinnacles to tunnels and caverns teeming with life. The area is famous for its incredible coral diversity, with colourful hard and soft corals, gorgonian fans, and delicate anemones. Reef sharks patrol the edges, turtles glide along the slopes, and schools of snapper, fusiliers, and jacks shimmer in the sunlight. Many dives feel completely untouched.

Sataya Reef
Sataya Reef is especially magical for its resident spinner dolphins — pods often rest and play in the protected lagoon, approaching divers with genuine curiosity. The reef itself is vibrant, with coral gardens at their peak colour, excellent visibility highlighting intricate hard and soft corals, gorgonian fans, and shimmering schools of reef fish. Turtles frequently glide along the slopes, rays pass the sandbanks, and gentle currents bring a dynamic touch to the shallow swim-throughs. One of the most joyful and photogenic dive experiences in the Red Sea.

Elphinstone Reef
Elphinstone Reef is one of the Red Sea's most dramatic dive sites, with sheer drop-offs, strong currents, and abundant pelagic life. The reef is adorned with vibrant hard and soft corals, gorgonian fans, and colourful overhangs. The south plateau at 25–35m is one of the world's most reliable locations for oceanic whitetip encounters — they approach with unhurried confidence, pilot fish in tow. Schools of fusiliers, trevallies, and barracudas patrol the walls. Reef sharks, eagle rays, and turtles are regular visitors. Every dive is a drift dive shaped by powerful currents.
Sites depend on weather, currents, and conditions. Our crew optimises in real-time for the best diving.
