Private Charters
Your group. Your route. Your boat.
Charter M/Y Celesta for a private diving expedition. Full boat exclusivity, custom itinerary, dedicated crew of 12.
Private charter
The entire vessel is yours
A charter gives you full boat exclusivity — no shared spaces, no compromise on the itinerary. Everything is designed around your group.
Full boat exclusivity
All 12 cabins, all common areas, the dive deck, and the top deck — exclusively for your group. No strangers. No schedule conflicts.
Custom itinerary
We design the route around your goals. Shark encounters at Brothers, wreck exploration at Thistlegorm, deep walls at Abu Talha — you decide where Celesta goes.
Dedicated crew of 12
Captain, dive guides, professional tec diver, chef, and deck crew — all focused on your group. The same crew who run our scheduled expeditions.
Full tec support
Nitrox, Trimix blending, CCR-friendly operations, dedicated tec zone on the dive deck. Run mixed rec/tec groups or full tec charters.
Who charters
Groups that want the boat to themselves
Dive clubs and communities
Organise a trip for your members with a route tailored to the group’s experience level. Beginners and advanced divers can share the boat with separate dive plans. The organiser often gets a discounted or free spot.
Training agencies and courses
Run certification courses offshore with full gas logistics, dedicated deck space, and a professional tec diver on board. From AOWD courses on the BDE route to Trimix training at Abu Talha.
Photography groups and workshops
Extended bottom times, flexible schedules, and camera infrastructure built for serious shooters. Plan dives around light conditions and specific subjects.
Corporate groups and team events
A week on the Red Sea with your team. Diving, dining, and conversation in a setting that builds genuine connection. We can accommodate mixed diving levels and non-divers with snorkelling options.
Friends and private groups
Celebrating something or just want the Red Sea with people you choose. Bring fewer than 24 for extra space or fill every cabin for the best per-person rate.
Special expeditions
Marine research projects, conservation surveys, documentary filming, or exploratory diving. We work with groups that need a capable platform and a crew that understands unusual requirements.
A typical day
What a charter day looks like
Your schedule, your pace. This is a typical day on a BDE charter — your itinerary can be adjusted to match your group’s goals and energy level.
Dawn briefing and first dive — the best light and the calmest conditions
Surface. Hot drinks and breakfast on the main deck
Second dive — your guide briefs the site, depths, and what to look for
Surface interval. Lunch served in the lounge or on the high deck
Third dive — afternoon light on the reef wall, or a wreck if the route includes one
Free time. Tea on the top deck. Camera maintenance. Nap. Your call
Optional fourth dive or night dive depending on the site and group energy
Dinner. Log dives. Plan tomorrow. Stars from the high deck
Before you ask
We have heard these before
“We can not fill all the cabins”
You do not have to. Charter M/Y Celesta with fewer than 24 guests for a more spacious experience — you are paying for exclusivity, not per-bed. Most groups are between 16 and 24 divers.
“It sounds expensive”
Split the total cost per person and it is often comparable to individual bookings on scheduled trips — with the added benefit of full boat exclusivity and a custom route. We quote transparently with no hidden fees.
“What if someone drops out?”
We can help find a replacement through our network, or the group can redistribute the cost. Our goal is for the trip to happen, not to penalise people for life changes.
“Our group has mixed experience levels”
Most of our scheduled expeditions already run mixed rec/tec groups with separate dive plans. On a charter, we tailor the operation to your exact mix — recreational and technical divers share the boat, not the dive plan.
Your vessel
We built this boat. We know every system on board.
M/Y Celesta is a 2026 new build — hand-built wooden hull with light steel reinforcements, dual main engines, and Swedish-designed interiors. We own her. No charter swaps, no shared fleets, no hand-me-down equipment. When something needs maintenance, we decide what gets done and when. That accountability is the whole point.
The captain has final authority on all route and weather decisions. Every voyage starts with a comprehensive safety briefing for all guests. Dive insurance is mandatory — no exceptions.
The process
Three steps from idea to expedition
Start a conversation
Tell us your preferred dates, group size, diving goals, and any special requirements. Reach out on WhatsApp or email — a real conversation with divers who know the boat and the routes, not a form. We will ask the right questions to understand what you need.
We design your trip
We create a tailored itinerary — routes, dive plans, gas logistics, catering preferences. We refine it together until it matches your brief. You get a detailed, transparent quote with no hidden fees. We can also provide materials to help you promote the trip to your group.
Board and dive
Your crew is briefed, your tanks are filled, your itinerary is locked in. All you need to do is enjoy the Red Sea with your group. We handle everything else — from airport transfers to dive logistics to meals.
Pricing
Transparent pricing, no hidden fees
Charter pricing depends on your itinerary, duration, and group size. Every charter is different and we quote accordingly. Most groups split the total cost per person — with 24 guests, per-person rates are often comparable to our scheduled expeditions with the added benefit of full boat exclusivity and a custom route.
- Full boat exclusivity included
- Crew of 12 included
- All meals and non-alcoholic beverages included
- Custom itinerary design at no extra charge
- Gas logistics (Nitrox, Trimix) quoted separately based on needs
- Hurghada airport transfers included
- Individual invoicing per guest available
Common questions about charters
Charter pricing depends on your itinerary, duration, group size, and specific requirements. Contact us with your dates and goals and we will provide a detailed, transparent quote — no hidden fees. Most groups split the cost per person, which often works out comparable to individual bookings on scheduled trips.
Celesta accommodates up to 24 guests across 12 cabins. For a charter, the entire boat is yours — you can bring fewer guests for a more spacious experience or fill all 24 spots for best per-person value.
That is the whole point of a charter. Tell us where you want to dive, what you want to see, and how long you want to be out — and we will design a route around your goals.
We quote a total charter price. How your group splits it is up to you. Most organisers divide equally by the number of guests. We can provide individual invoicing for each guest if that helps.
Our cancellation policy allows for reasonable notice periods. If a guest drops out, we can help you find a replacement through our network, or the group can redistribute the cost.
Yes. Celesta offers full technical diving support: Nitrox, Trimix blending, CCR-friendly operations, and Sofnolime. We can arrange dedicated tec diving programmes with an experienced professional technical diver aboard.
3 to 6 months minimum, especially for peak season (September through November). Contact us early to secure your preferred dates — we can hold dates while you finalise group details.
Absolutely. Most of our scheduled expeditions already run mixed rec/tec groups with separate dive plans and dedicated guides. On a charter, we tailor the operation to your group’s exact mix.
